FRAGIO is born from Francesca’s authentic passion for the world of jewelry. A journey guided by a spontaneous desire to shape unique creations, successfully blending an innate artistic talent, outstanding technical skills, and a distinctive originality.

It all begins in the classrooms of the Art High School, where Francesca studies the proportions and harmony of shapes. This geometric and structural vision guides her all the way to the prestigious school of goldsmithing in Milan, where she qualifies as a Metal Processing Specialist in the Goldsmith Art Sector.

In 1998, her first silver collections are born, embellished with Swarovski crystals and naturally colorful stones. These are years of intense growth, marked by collaborations with top-tier workshops: Francesca manages wax modeling for Giampiero Fiorini and engraves fine gold jewelry for Federico Buccellati.

Later, within a select artisanal workshop, she creates high-end jewelry for internationally renowned brands such as Dada Arrigoni and L’Altro Bulgari, mastering the entire production cycle: from the composition of the gold alloy to the final polishing.

In 2001, her path gains a solid scientific foundation at the Italian Gemmological Institute (IGI), where Francesca earns the title of Expert Appraiser in the Gems and Precious Items Sector, specializing with a Diamond Diploma and a Pearls Certificate.

This expertise leads her to collaborate with the global giant Mikimoto, where she handles millimetric pearl selection and quality control. A long and prestigious experience follows, divided between the bench workshop and a major diamond importing company. For the latter, Francesca designs several jewelry lines and grades diamond lots by clarity and color, becoming a deep connoisseur of the world's most luminous gems.

Francesca’s talent gains global resonance during the 2007/2008 two-year period, when she enters the international design competition Tahitian Pearl Trophy. Challenging the industry giants, she climbs the podium thanks to a revolutionary idea: jewelry-glasses that convert into earrings.

In 2010, Francesca takes the big leap and goes independent as a diamond wholesaler, designer, and third-party enameling specialist. Two years later, she takes over a historic Milanese jewelry shop, turning it into what stands today as a symbol of innovation, expertise, and creativity.

Her authority is further cemented by her official registration in the Register of Experts of the C.C.I.A.A. (Chamber of Commerce, No. 3015), starting ongoing collaborations with prestigious notary firms for valuations and legal appraisals. Her vocation for the sector also shines through teaching: Francesca passes her passion on to future goldsmiths by teaching Gemology at the Galdus professional school.

The years 2020 and 2021 mark the time of expansion. FRAGIO inaugurates a new, spacious Atelier in Casorezzo, Francesca's hometown, while maintaining its exclusive meeting point in the center of Milan.
